Of course I know about gold coins. Once I had some last year during Christmas. I had them and gave them away to my nieces and nephews because I really had no chance to get any Christmas presents for them. I felt sorry about it, though, but they did not seem to be sad. They really liked my presents because they preferred to use the gold coin for their saving, decoration at their bedrooms or just to show the coins to their friends at schools. Just the way I used to do during my childhood.
When I was about their age, gold coins were something very valuable for me. Beside the shape and the shine that are really beautiful; in my opinion, gold is always the symbol of wealth. Perhaps you would also think just like the way I do, don’t you?
This time, I am handling not only gold coin on my hands. My boss has given me some ‘preparation’ for my business necessity in shape of gold bullion. Bullion? Have you ever thought about it? And, have you ever touch any one of it? Pew… it is extremely something new for me, and I am really proud because my boss entrusts them to me.
Though the business travel does not take too long and the business deal will also be apparently taking short time, but I still don’t feel comfortable in carrying some gold bullion inside the leather briefcase on my left hand. It is even more something risky for me to bring them without any perfect security, different from the boss. She just takes the bullion from her safety box in her office then she puts it inside the briefcase, closes it, and just hands it over to her secretary who will then pass it to me.
Receiving the briefcase contained of some gold bullion has made me dizzy. However, this is the duty from the boss and I must carry it on my shoulder. I must not make her disappointed.
