You see, I knew he and his partner, a marketing coach had recruited a few years ago. He wanted to know what its like to experience the challenges and successes that were on the road.

This company is above all very typical of small businesses, based on the services that I focus my practice of marketing. They tell you you’re a few meters, which are really what they do and enjoy working with customers well. We also say that they are not marketing people, knew how to attract a steady stream of new companies.

I asked my friend if there is no date or event that ultimately led to their break-through marketing. I wanted to see if there is something specific that they finally help you crack the code on marketing.

At first he thought was the answer when they finally cut their target market. Finally, we have a niche that was a very good fit for them to define, it made sense for them and helped them stay focused laser beam. We agreed that this was a breakthrough. Often it is easy to say, but usually very difficult to reduce for small companies to their target audience. This was a step that was clearly paying dividends for a small company, my friend.

But in reality was not the answer for what contributed to the advance marketing. After the discussion a little more we discover that the practice never made progress until you define marketing and clarify its purpose and vision.

Without a clearly defined goal and vision, entrepreneurs could not express what they really were and what they are trying to do. A little conversation with the couple confirms. Without clarifying its purpose and vision, the business course was very reactive.

None of the marketing strategies or tactics that marketing coach, helped implement it proved to be productive. The reality was that they were under a reactive way in any business, they could get through the door.

Explain the purpose and Vision created the marketing progress. Purpose and Vision say you and all the others, which will lead to where you go and what impact do you want to do with the business. This was my friend and partner focus and direction, which did not exist before. He cut his target market and all the marketing strategies and tactics, that make no sense.

I started thinking about all my relationships with the customers themselves have decided some time ago I had, for the articulation of purpose and vision in my build ABCD Growth Marketing Model. It was a piece that is missing in marketing relationships successfully and now it seems my lunch discussion seems to have confirmed.
